The city of Anderson's population is approximately 25,514. In 2000, Anderson was named the "All-American City" by the National Civic League.  Anderson offers a mild climate with four distinct seasons, with mild winters and warm summers. The average temperature is 62°, and the area boasts an average 248 days a year of sunshine.*
